Pawfect Adventures with Nikki

Meet Nikki
The crazy dog lady, with a stubborn dog of her own, is here to take on any challenge.
Her experience in walking, training and pet-sitting several different breeds of dogs, means that Nikki is a great help for any dog's human (and of course the pupper too)!
Training
Nikki offers one-to-one basic and obedience training for you and your doggo.
Whilst Nikki strongly believes in positive reinforcement, she understands that not all dogs respond to commands immediately. In such cases, gentle, timely corrections may be used to help the dog understand expectations. These include carefully applied, light lead guidance (never harsh or painful), use of “no-reward” markers to signal unwanted behaviours, and other humane, non-harmful methods.
Nikki does not believe in punishment or any tactics that cause stress, fear, or pain to control or subdue a dog in her care.

Nikki's Services

Walking
Good street manners, waiting before crossing roads and refraining from jumping up on humans, is just the start of what your floof will be capable of.
Nikki adds a twist of exciting training with all her walking sessions to increase mental stimulation, so when your pupper is back at home, they will surely want some water and a well deserved rest after the exertion of energy from their innocent brains!
Book from 30 minutes to one-and-a-half hour sessions, in increments of 30 minutes.
From £16 per hour, this service is a bargain for those looking to include refresher training for their forgetful floofers within the price of a dog walk.
Sitting
Let your puppers stay in the comfort of their own territory. Nikki, fully CRB certified, will come to yours and keep your pets entertained, trained and sustained.
Happy to stick to your house rules, Nikki will make sure your pup won’t go potty indoors; doesn’t chew your shoe; and to top it all off, refrains from jump onto the sofa (unless they’re allowed) 🐾
If your puppy is not potty trained, you have the option to pay an additional £5 per day for dedicated potty training to be included during the dog-sitting services. This will be non-puppy mat based and access to a garden potty area will be required.

Here's what Nikki's clients say:
Nikki is an absolute miracle worker! Our German Shepherd had always been a handful and highly reactive to strangers and completely distrustful of anyone outside our family. He wouldn’t listen, and everything had to be on his terms. I was the only one who could walk him because my wife and kids couldn’t handle his strength. We were at our wits’ end, especially as his behaviour escalated. He had started reacting to anything that moved: scooters, bikes, even cars. That’s when we saw Nikki walking a couple of large dogs in the park with complete control. Intrigued, we reached out, and from the very first session, which Nikki generously offered for free, it was clear she has an incredible understanding of dog behaviour, particularly with challenging breeds like GSDs. Nikki was patient, calm, and confident, qualities that immediately put our dog (and us!) at ease. She didn’t just train our dog, she trained us. Nikki taught us how to interpret his signals, manage his triggers, and build his confidence. She always emphasised that she wasn’t “training the dog; she was training us,” and that made all the difference. The transformation has been astonishing. Our German Shepherd is now far more manageable around strangers, both in and out of the house, as well as around fast-moving distractions. While he’s still protective (as a GSD should be), he listens to commands and settles much quicker. Nikki didn’t just help with obedience; she gave us the tools to strengthen our bond with him and help him trust humans again. If you’re struggling with an unruly or reactive dog, I can’t recommend Nikki enough. She truly has a gift for bringing out the best in even the most challenging dogs. Thank you, Nikki, for giving us the tools and knowledge to enjoy a happier, more peaceful life with our dog!

Nikki helped with my nervous whippet-cross greyhound. He was very anxious and nerves, but she help to calm him and his now behaving better. Her patient approach made such a difference with me and him. She offered a free initial session, which was helpful, and considerate. She didn’t stop helping when personal issues made it hard for me to make it to appointments and having to reschedule. Nikki helped us at our own pace and helped to build confidence and manage stressful situations. Thank you! Xx

Nikki has looked after our 2 dogs (shih Tzu 7 and shih Tzu mix 3) for many years now. She is wonderful with them and they absolutely adore her. We are very cautious about who we leave our dogs with, and it is such a relief to have someone who we have complete confidence in to care for them. She is an incredibly kind and caring person as well as very experienced in dog behaviour, as proved by how well behaved and impeccably trained her dog is! She genuinely cares for every dog she is looking after and is honestly one of the only people we trust with our dogs.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Ekta Nikki K. for seven years, and in that time, I've seen her unwavering dedication to caring for animals, especially her dog. We both got our dogs around the same time, and since then, we've had regular playdates where I've witnessed her genuine love, patience, and attention to her pet's well-being. Ekta goes above and beyond to ensure her dog is happy and healthy, from consistent training to regular walks and even adventurous hikes. Her commitment to meeting all her dog’s needs is inspiring. Ekta has also looked after my dog on many occasions, taking her for walks and providing the same thoughtful, compassionate care that she gives her own pet. She’s been wonderful at socializing my dog, ensuring she feels comfortable and safe while enjoying her time with Ekta’s dog. I am always at ease knowing my dog is in such good hands. Ekta would be a fantastic addition to Rover as a pet sitter and dog walker. Her dedication, experience, and love for animals make her the perfect choice for any pet parent looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate. I have no doubt she’ll provide exceptional care to every pet she meets.

Nikki took care of my older Lurcher and energetic Jack Russell mix both during the workday and on weekends when I was away, and her house-sitting was just as thoughtful as her pet care. Nikki was always so attentive and caring—both my boys absolutely adored her! She followed all my instructions to keep them on their routines and followed the house rules to a T, which gave me complete peace of mind. She was respectful and mindful of my home, leaving everything just as she found it. She genuinely cared, not just for my pets, but for my space too. Thank you, Nikki!

Nikki has been walking my boy over a year now, and he loves her. I feel confident leaving my big GSD/Akita mix with her as all of my "rules" are followed, and I feel Nikki genuinely cares about my boy as anything she notices, she will flag to me, which I'm always grateful for. I get updates and photos which is always appreciated.
